BY HEATHER BRILEY-SCHMIDT
Hey y’all! It’s Briley.
Although I am from Beaufort, South Carolina, my love of the cold makes me a Wisconsinite at heart. I am double majoring in business administration and English professional writing at Mount Mary University. I love blogging – there’s something about the power of words that captures my interest. I enjoy reading and writing about anything and everything aside from mysteries. I am studying to become a book editor when I graduate in December 2016.
I studied abroad in France last school year (2014-2015), and I kept a daily blog about my adventures in Paris for my family back in the states, BrileySchmidt.
I can’t wait to go back one day, but I may want to improve my French before then.
Since my freshman year of college I have been obsessed with residence life. I became the president of the Residence Hall Association and The Caroline Hall Council my freshman year of college and have been hooked on the needs of the residence hall since then. This is my fourth year living on campus and I am excited to say that I have been selected as a resident assistant on floor 4w, one of the two wings that have communal bathrooms (sadly). This is my life, the good, the bad, and the rezzy (nickname for residents). If you have ever lived on campus and wondered if your R.A. was human, keep reading to find out.
