Looking to expand your taste buds with oriental cuisine? Thai Bar-B-Que restaurant offers a delicious food experience with its Thailand-based menu.

Located about 20 minutes from Mount Mary College on 3417 W. National Ave. in Milwaukee, Thai Bar-B-Que is a convenient and affordable Thai experience for any college student.

As a small family-owned restaurant since 2006, Thai Bar-B-Que provides friendly service that includes food recommendations and explanations for those unfamiliar with its menu dishes.

The small size of the restaurant along with the exotic decorations and Thai music adds an elegant yet inviting dining experience, as customers can visually explore Thai artifacts while partaking in exotic Thai cuisine.

Thai Bar-B-Que offers multiple selections from noodles, meat dishes and curries to soups and Boba smoothies (smoothies with tapioca balls on the bottom). Most dishes are under $10 and include side dishes such as rice.

If you are looking to expand your taste palette, I recommend Thai Bar-B-Que. It’s a dining experience that will keep you craving more.

Pho soup options are a perfect warm-up dish. While it can include a variety of meats such as meatballs or well-done steak, there is also a vegetarian option. Pho soups are served in a broth and include rice noodles and spices. Side ingredients include jalapeno peppers, basil leaves and bean sprouts, as well as crushed pepper.
Pho soup includes a variety of sauces such as Hoisin sauce, which has a sweet yet salty taste; fish sauce, which has a rather sour and salty taste; or Sriracha sauce, which adds a bit of spice to the soup. I personally like my Pho with a sweet and spicy taste to it, so I even include sugar. Most of the Pho dishes are less than $8.
