Happy Endings is the oldest no-kill cat rescue in Milwaukee, with 17 years to its name, run solely by volunteers and supported by
donations and fundraising events. It is the mission of Happy Endings to find permanent homes for feral, stray, abused, neglected, unwanted and critically injured cats. Each month it goes through more than 800 pounds of litter, and last year it spent more than $60,000 on medical expenses.
The following are current adoptable cats:
Muffin is about 6 years old, and her owners could no longer keep her. A true princess, she needs to be an only child. She would also do better in a quieter home without small children. She is a beautiful girl that would love to be your couch buddy as you watch your favorite shows.
Bruce is a handsome boy. He is lean, muscular and looks like a gray panther. He is smarter than the average ‘bear’ and extremely active. He was terrified when he arrived via a partner rescue, but in time has completely turned around. In fact, he is now a bit of a bully with the other cats. In his mind, he runs the shelter and keeps everyone in line – even his human subjects! He was originally found walking down the street in Wisconsin Dells with his mother (Della) and litter mates. Stop in and see him. Is your home the purr-fect match?
Happy Endings typically houses 60-70 adult cats and countless kittens on-site in addition to having adoption units in two Petco stores. Volunteers are always needed; call 414-744-3287 or e-mail MediaRelations@HappyEndings.us. For a list of events, visit www.happyendings.us.
